It is a bad plan that admits of no modifications.

As most of us know, the motorcycles are built for general person for general road and furthermore, the 125-s are mostly meant to be learner bikes (at least in Europe). But who is the general person and what are the general roads? That is hard to tell. The 125-s are definitely under the price cutting pressure and it's not surprise to see any high tech accessories or suspension parts etc on it. But KTM is lucky enough as they own a high end suspension company by them-self and this gave them opportunity to add a bit more quality for less price.

I would also say the stock equipment and the ability to add KTM power parts makes the Duke to stand out from the rest. For 125cc-s I would even say its revolutionary to add so many OEM power-parts on it and to have this kind of fancy TFT display on a bike. Did not noticed something like this from other manufactures. That is one big thing that I love about KTM and the fact that their approach is always racing orientated. All their motorcycles can be personalized before you even buy them and all their mods are legal and does not ruin your warranty - what else like 95% of us would need?
