Today we did the oil change ( @yacco_france as usual) and also tried new injector from @nmwracing_official for Duke 200 that has 8 holes. It's tight place to get it off without taking the airbox off. But eventually we managed.

Started it up but even with cutting fuel with Rapid Bike - it's was still too rich to work as it should. Opened the airbox, but this did not really helped. Therefore If you have 125 - the 200cc injector that has 8 holes is overkill, unless you have big valves and different cams, no airbox etc berhaps to compensate.

Now will see if we can get regular 200cc injector or we try to find something else with lower volume then this. Overall, I try to reduce the OEM injector cycles as we are quite maximum with it and additional fuel added by Rapid Bike.

I guess we never try testing with this bike 😎

Seat is amazing, Quickshifter is blast, WP apex cartridges are perfect and easy to adjust.

This is as good as it gets for 125cc street legal bike and we are not done yet 😎

New set of tires🤟. We got 140 rear now with additional height. S22s feel really good on street.

Few mods, that really put this thing to sync. First was new DB killer that gives more back pressure and therefore more torque and more rich mixture. Secondly, custom de-cat section to reduce the heat in intake temps and provide better flow to exhaust. This thing rips now way faster the rpms. For same distance, it was 6 kmh gain from first try. Just bonkers 125 🤪

Time to change oil again. Love @yacco_france racing one for our duke. No mainstream red color oil and all that advanced marketing but it's pure excellence so far with our high compression setup. Also, trusting @hiflofiltro with filter as usual 👍.

KTM orange days 2024. Could ride many 2024 ones and few 2023 models. Basically 990 is really good, especially engine wise compared to 890. They did not had 1390 for test, however already thr 990 is crazy for street. SMT also really comfortable and 890 is powerful still. New 125 felt completely powerless if you come from 990, however in general it felt more premium and has decent tech on it. Compared to my 125, stock has definitely less power. 390 Adventure I like the least - this engine was really jerky and overall quality was not high as others.

From the moment we started to modify this baby beast we were often in uncertain times of how the AFR is actually as there are no data available less then that new bikes run lean. So what we did? Well we started with good base that we got from Rapid Bike ECU. Then we tested and tweaked the Map a lot of hours to get the feel of how the bike behave. Best part - my ass is quite right, the map we currently have is spot on - its all around from 13.4-14,7 so its never too lean or too rich. Can't stress how important that information is and how it helps us to tweak it further. @brakingbrakes 16mm MC installed. Some things needs to be adjusted/removed/added, however quite easy and in general plug and play. Best decision was to buy the quick bleeders for calipers - quick and fast bleeding indeed. Also, don't forget to buy the @frentubo_official kit as well - small Duke OEM MC is not radial. #ktmduke125 #duke125 #project11

3000km driven OEM clutch. Does not look bad, however clear difference with pad size (last pic) when compared to new racing ones. Also different materials used which should prevent clutch slip and tolerate more heat. Didn't had significant clutch slip with OEM, but they are not meant for HP rise, constant aggressive accelerations and high RPM situations as racing ones. Would be also interesting to see what they will do to engine breaking. I already had EBC stronger clutch springs since we did the engine build - I guess it helped as well to manage everything so far.

In order to change your clutch, you need KTM special nut tool and also will benefit from the clutch holder as well. Will make reel, then you see all the tools. The clutch plates were soaked overnight as per instructions it came with. 👆

New wheel spacers, removed the reflectors and installed the WP Apex Pros. Also modified the front fender as I like the minimal look as the prototype had. Next we do clutch 👍🙏

Heat Shield vol2 and new sprocket installed. Created a install kit for heat shield that is clamped with exhaust. Made the shield a bit smaller this time for easier cleaning and more compact design. New sprocket also on and I can confirm the 46T will fit with 112 chain. Day well spent!

Quickshifter wiring done. Tried few different ways but managed perfectly to fit it underneath the ECU. Been stripping down the bike so often already that no need for manuals. Really happy with the result and did some manual adjustment with PC to preset the force, now ready to be tested on 2024. Honestly never seen QS on 125, but seems to be already an option on 2024 model. As with 125, you change the gears a lot, in my opinion it really is worth it. #ktmduke125 #duke125 #project11

Painted and assembled. First heat cycle done with engine, but also did some with airgun. Sadly it rained a lot and therefore could not ride it it. As the low temperature arrives here soon, the next ride will probably be already in spring 2024. Now its time to build it again and clean everything up for new season. #project11 #duke125

Small exhaust project that I had no time to finish in the spring. Wanted to smooth out the terrible factory welding and edge on the chamber delete pipe - now a ton better and flow is not erupted as much. Also removed the VHT black paint that from some places chipped a bit (was easy to scratch as well) and polished it back to pure metal. Will coat it with VHT satin clear coat hopefully tomorrow to also do the heat cycle before putting the bike indoors. After that still have some mods in the list for spring - so bear with me.
