After bringing home the baby Duke, I had clear vision in my head of what I want to make it. In my head there was never thoughts to leave it stock. The question was not to make it more powerful or to just add some fancy parts on it and drive around. For me, the question was more like challenge to make it my own and craft it as I wanted. Just to build a special bike to have for many many years.
I bought it without seeing it and test drive, as my dealer did not had any in dealership at that time. But for me it was okay, I already had the vision and parts list on my computer and I probably knew a lot more then any normal buyer about the bike. After loading it off from the trailer, It was the first time I took a little spin by myself and with my girl. I rode it less then 1km, as for me it was uncompleted and the engine needed proper break in. On the same day I started to disassemble the parts I did not want and I put the bike into indoor room. The project 11 was started.
