March Madness!

Finally our parts have arrived from various places of Europe. The final Powerparts I ordered were handlebar ends, tank protector and the racing footpegs. They give a nice touch to combine everything else together. I also received the Domino A010 grips, as I find the original ones a bit too fat and not so grippy.

First, changing the grips: As some of you might know, KTM throttle side grips are locked with some special plastic edges. In order to install aftermarket grips, those edges must be grinded off. I also removed the throttle tube, as its easier to do the work.

Once those are grinded, the installation of new grips are relatively easy. Just need to twist the new ones on and re-install the throttle tube. After that I installed the KTM powerparts handlebar ends. Gives a nice touch.

The new grey Domino A010 grips with orange KTM ends. Domino grips are one off the best out there for sure. They are widely used for race bikes, even in MotoGP.

The grey matches great with the control buttons. The grips feel slimmer and grippy, giving more control and feedback over the handlebar.

Next thing I wanted to change were the footpegs. As original ones are wide and has rubber pad, they do not give quite good grip and control. The racing ones also are a bit lighter and they give a small amount of clearance.

The final part I received was Tank protector. This decal will help you to avoid your zipper to rub the paint and it will give extra grip if needed. For me it also combines all the decals of the bike.

Just perfect!
